Legong Saba Dance Retreat/Workshop

The Legong Saba Dance Retreat is an exclusive workshop that accommodates only six participants at a time.  Dance lessons and workshops takes up 4.5 hours in a day and are broken up to a period of 1.5 hours each. Besides dance lessons, a gamelan workshop is also included to introduce the accompanying music.  It includes a Saba Village tour to set the historical context and to give participants a total understanding of what Saba was and how it is today.

The workshop ends with a performance by Agung Rai Saba accompanied by his troupe, the Sanggar Seni Saba Sari, a cast made up only of the people from the Saba village.
