ABOUT CARLA
Carla was born in Palermo, Italy and started dancing since she was young. She has been studying with many master teachers such as James Urbain, Bruce Taylor, Giuliano Peparini, Alexander Stepkine, Mauro Astolfi, etc. She specializes in Ballet, Modern Jazz, Contemporary Dance and Hip Hop.
Carla was a sololist for the Teatro Massimo's Piccoli Danzatori Company from 1998 to 2003. She was featured in many national TV programs as well as a leading role in famous operas such as Macbeth, Aida, Carmen, Die Zauberflöte, Les contes d'Hoffmann, and La Cenerentola. She is also a mime-actress who with Italian Movie Matic company from 2004-2006 in several advertisement commercials.
ABOUT CARLA'S MODERN JAZZ
Carla's Modern Jazz style is inspired by international choreographers such as Danyelle Jones, Mia Michaels and Sonya Tayeh (from the cult TV show 'So You Think You Can Dance').
Her work is mainly based on the power of interpretation, improvisation and fusion, joinng together Jazz, Contemporary Dance, Ballet and Hip Hop with the sensuality and humor from Burlesque.
WORKSHOP SCHEDULE
MODERN JAZZ - Beginner
Monday (March 15, 22, 29 and April 5) 7:30pm-9:00pm
Total Fee for 4 classes (6 hours) - THB 2,400 at door (THB 2,100 or 4 tickets plus THB 800 before March 10th)
This workshop is a 4-week workshop and suitable for beginner level. Students are required to register for the whole session (4 weeks) to ensure progress. Carla will teach dance foundation techniques and one choreography.
