Nila Palacios hails from Maracaibo, Venezuela and has been interested in fashion, grooming and feminine attributes at a very young age. As she arrived in Malaysia at the turn of the millennium, Nila realised the absence of Latin inspired fashion in Asia. A deep rooted sense of spreading the Latin culture through fashion engulfed her. A quick decision to enrol herself at the prestigious International Fashion Training Centre created a platform to refine her designing skills and Latin passion.
Nila quotes “fashion design allows me to be help women feel good and be true to themselves.”She designs her collection specifically for women who yearn to be unique and want to celebrate their womanly curves.

Her latest Tango Collection is inspired by the Latin passion, character and sensuality taken from different elements of the Argentine culture and dance. The emergence of European immigrants in the late 19th century led to the reinvention of Argentine society creating a culture varied and interesting. The Tango although originated in lower-class districts of Buenos Aires but its music is an absorbing blend of various European rhythms. The dance styles are mostly in a lead and follow sequence with space between the dancers.
For the lovers of Tango, the dance wear is Tango puro with short dresses in asymmetrical cuts and slanted lengths added with sexy cuts and long slits to give the dancer freedom to move and display her legs. The fabrics utilised are lycra, knitted jersey and lurex to allow the body to breathe while dancing.
