Obituary - Caecar Chong
6 March 1974 - 18 February 2010



We are saddened to hear that Caecar Chong, a dedicated Butoh artist passed away from cancer this morning, 18 February 2010.  He fought the disease for two years.

Although a trained architect, Caecar believes architecture is more than just building buildings. In association with Space Spirit Studio, he champions the use of various media across art disciplines to express the spirit of space. His set designs for theatre and dance have respectively won and been nominated for a Cameronian Arts Award.
