"Magic Mirror - The Musical"

Yayasan Guan Yin is proud to present “Magic Mirror – The Musical”, a stunning art performance combining artistes and talents both from China and Malaysia. The significant objective of this performance is to propagate the spirit of compassion and selflessness in Buddhism. It is a charity concert to raise fund for the needy.

The spirit of selflessness and compassion is symbolized by Avolokistesvara Boddhisattva, who has no forms or shapes but takes different manifestations to help those in pain, sorrow and despair. Thus, a compassionate helping hand will always bring hope and strength to the needy.

“Magic Mirror – The Musical” will portray how Avolokitesvara Boddhisattva helps sentient beings to emerge from darkness, guiding them to the right path and constantly spreading the message of loving kindness. This goes parallel with hope enthusiast and producer of this musical, Datin Tan Swee Lai, the Secretary General of Yayasan Guan Yin, who wishes to propagate the message of love, peace, harmony and human kindness to the world.
