Description:
Classical and contemporary dance combine in an exciting opening Gala. Premieres include BP resident choreographer Alden Lugnasin’s Bungangsakit (FRUIT OF SORROW) a new work about a woman who is shunned by her home town due to her uncommon appearance.
Other highlights include; Les Sylphides, our celebration of Chopin’s birth bicentennial this year along with the Winner of the 1st BP Choreographer’s Cup. There are also the gala performances with the Manila Symphony Orchestra.
