Description
Poets and children are the only ones to understand that dreams and reality are one and the same thing.
Poets construct and imagine the future, whatever, technique they use ―― painting, science, writing or dance. Picasso was a great poet like Einstein, Cocteau, Nijinsky, Tange Kenzo, Fellini or Mishima.
The point here is not to create a biography, not to use dance to illustrate a work of literature whose importance is, not yet, fully recognized, but which is sufficient unto itself.
But one can dream of an imaginary Mishima who, while remaining true to himself, might be a twin brother, a mask, a mirror as Moliere and Malraux were for one in previous ballets. Adolescence is romantic:Mishima's reading of Ho¨lderlin, Goethe and other great German thinkers reminds us of "FAUST"and the four stages of this discovery of man which is quoted in one of the first scenes of the work.
