Wifi Body Festival is a gathering of contemporary dance artists, a showcase for new and innovative contemporary dance works and a magnet for collaborations with artists of other disciplines with contemporary dance. It is a project of the Contemporary Dance Network Philippines (CDNP).

First initiated in 2006 by a network of choreographers, spearheaded by Ms. Myra C. Beltran under the auspices of World Dance Alliance-Philippines, the festival has since made a palpable mark on the local and international dance scene and has grown to be the pre-eminent contemporary dance event in the Philippines.

The form of the festival derives from the template of the original Contemporary Dance Map series, initiated in 2005, which is a performance-tour of alternative spaces for dance. Wifi Body Festival emulates this series. While it was initiated to primarily be held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines, it is distinguished by its innovative use of traditional spaces and its exploration of non-traditional spaces within the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

Wifi Body Festival comes under the rubric of the CDNP, currently chaired by Ms. Angel Lawenko-Baguilat.. The festival in 2010 is going to be led again by Ms. Beltran after a successful 2009 festival headed by Mr. Paul Morales.
