Description:
Yoko Higashino, the director of Dance Company Baby-Q, is re-staging a piece
premiered in Autumn 2008 entitled "Vacuum Zone" at Theater Tram.
"Myself left inside a space of total emptiness, inside this endless piles of
garbage", "Physical presence of the body, emotions, transformations of
self-awareness and its surroundings, changing flow of time..." The piece
takes honest feelings and truth of everyday life as its central theme. With
contributions from a junk artist OLEO and a composer Natiho Toyoda , it
makes for an unmistakably fascinating piece that paves a way for the new era
of expressionism in Japan.
